Join Terry Collins and Murphy Fair for another edition of The Box Score, DTC Sports’ weekly high school football talk show.
As the regular season hits the nearly halfway mark, Terry and Murphy break down all the Week 5 action from across the region. Highlights include Gordonsville's dominant 42-7 victory over Cannon County, Watertown's hard-fought 34-32 win against White House Heritage, Macon County's shutout victory over DeKalb County, and Jackson County remaining undefeated by pulling away from Smith County.
The show features two special head coach interviews ahead of Friday night's highly anticipated matchup between undefeated 5-0 squads:
- Kyle Shoulders, head coach of the Macon County Tigers, discusses managing the heat during practices, updates on the construction of Macon County’s new multi-sport facility, and what has made his team so competitive after their 2024 state championship run.
- David Foster, head coach of the White County Warriors, talks about the energy surrounding the Sparta football program, coming off a rivalry win against Livingston, and building momentum week to week.
Finally, Murphy shares his expert predictions for key games across East, Middle, and West Tennessee, including high-stakes local regional matchups. Tune in for scores, stats, predictions, and in-depth interviews on The Box Score, brought to you by Pavement Restorations.
